Kenshin~!
Hmm, what's there to say? I started shipping Kenshin/Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin. I'm not quite sure how considering I've only seen ten episodes and a few OVAs. Hmm, I think I can blame it on finding Ravyn's Blood Dawn on Rednovember's profile at fanfiction.net. Yup, if you want to get converted with dark/possessive/battousaiKenshin fics, go check out Ravyn's profile. I've been converted people, watch out.
On a side note, I was supposed to read Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce for book club last Thursday, but I got distracted. Guess what distracted me? Kenshin OVAs!!! I've seen them before when I was about twelve, but as I watched them again, I was able to realize how great the OVAs really are. The animation is pretty good and as well as the voice acting, but some of the dialogue is kinda hokey at times. Overall though, the dialogue wa pretty good. Things made a lot more sense after watching the OVAs (like Tomoe, Akira, and Enishi. . .) . The OVAs utilize silence quite well, the silent moments are poignant and well-placed. However, I only have up to the third OVA, so I was fairly pissed when it ended. So, I just checked Wikipedia to see how it ended. That was fine, until I read how the second series of OVAs ended. After that, I was fairly upset and agreed with the quote "Kenshin went through so much crap, he should have a happy ending."
And more randomly, Karei has ssent me more pages for her Heaven's Reaver comic. I think I might actually finish the pages before she has to spam the heck out of me. Lol. I'm also volunteering at the library again during the summer, and I'm the only return volunteer. T_T And to top it off, the Book of Boredom is now Le Livre d'Ennui. Please save me from whoever wrote that!!! No more French, s'il vous plait!!!! I've had enough for the year!! (ahem ahem) Anyway, I've been working on my French III extra credit at Mission Paris. It's kinda funl On a side note, I've also started to take Pilates for my PE requirements. And no, it is NOT buns of steel.
P.S. WTF was up w/ ch 30 of Vampie Knight (I haven't it, but I've seen the blood sucking scene)??? First the Zero/Kaname shippers and then the Yuki/Kaname shipppers... Matsuri Hino, DO NOT MAKE A ZEROKANAME PAIRING!!!!
