YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT. Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I'm a free bitch baby!

I could go home earlier, but I'm hoping to finally do some sight-seeing.  Despite this being my third year here, I haven't gone sight-seeing in my college hometown.

So, tomorrow heading to the Zoo with tiramisudolce.  Then trying to go to the Dickens Fair this ( Read more... )

Ooooh, new place to spend money at for clothes. Because I need more of those. Because lolita's not enough of a money suck.

I love Lush! If you get the right employees you can get a crazy amount of free samples. Did you get the free hand treatment? It feels gorgeous. (PS. You must try the shower jelly.)

If you want basic makeup tips, I might be able to help you somewhat over the internet :)

Well, I think there're some cheaper pieces of clothing at Zara's than lolita stores (I can't bring myself to look at lolita price tags in Japantown).

FREE SAMPLES?! :o I haven't gotten any either times I've gone. Although they were kinda demoing some sort of hand treatment, but I wasn't sure if it was a look-but-don't-touch kind of demo. (I'm not too sure about shower jellies... those are the fizzy ones?)

AHAHA, that's going to be an undertaking. I have absolutely zero knowledge of makeup.

Ohhhhh, are you close to lolita stores? I totally didn't even consider that you live in California...I know Angelic Pretty and Baby the Stars Shine Bright have stores in SF.

Any place where socks are $20+ is scary ;)

You have to get the right employees at Lush to get free stuff. I usually don't get any but once I got free Toothy Tabs (they work, your teeth feel super clean but they taste bizarre) and a sample of shower scrub.

From what I know, the hand treatment is supposed to be a "first time Lush" kind of deal but if you just tell them you're not familiar with the company they'll go ahead and give you one. Your hands will feel and smell amaziiiiing. Shower jellies are like showering with a glob of jello. That produces suds. It's really almost surreal.

I didn't know anything about makeup through maybe about halfway through freshman year of college, if that? I didn't get serious about it until this past year :) If you need product suggestions for basic stuff I should be able to help at least little bit!

I go to college within a reasonable distance of J-town, so yeah the Baby the Stars Shine Bright and all those other brands I'm too scared to look at the price tags of.

LOL SUDSY JELLO?

Suggestions, I can haz them? I try to avoid things known to be harsh on skin because of my eczema, so I tend to err on the side of caution and just get stuff for sensitive skin.

Yeah, I've use Neutrogene shampoo for my eczema and I like their sunscreen too. Thanks for the recs! :)

For my face I use Cetaphil cleanse. I've been using Cetaphil for years, but I didn't realize there was a generic CVS version... (which I imagine is waaaaaay cheaper!). And you must've read my mind, because I've been thinking of trying Cerave lately to replace my Triceram lotion ( they're supposed to do the same science-y thing to heal eczema).
