I always make gif using Animation Shop 3, have you try that program? First you need to take screencaps from the part of the video (just like in the tutorial link you gave) then combine all the pictures with that program. You can adjust the width + height and the quality of the gif, so you can get big size or smaller size~
Here's my newest result :D


And in my computer your gif runs just fine ;)

No, I don't know this program, I will definitely give it a try :)!
Your gif runs alright for my connection. But I saw it's also around 2 MB, maybe for someone with a slow connection it will run slowly like mine? Hmmm, I will experiment with Animation Shop 3 nevertheless. I always like to fiddle with new programs and see where they could maybe improve something (maybe in connection with another program). If I find out some good tricks I will make another post ;). Hopefully with the kiss at the right speed hahaha xD.
