AFO the wrap up

Sundays at a convention are almost always weirdly quiet. There's so much going on Saturday and so many people that Sunday is strange. It was nice, though. Walked around lots, went through the dealer's room since Jason hadn't been, totally left my camera at home on the day of the costume contest, had desert at the restaurant there, went to closing ceremonies... peaceful but fun. Also finally saw Iron Man 2.

Con loot: Gai ducky (commissioned, there was nothing Gai in the whole place except for his belt/headband, and speaking of...), Gai belt/headband, Big O seasons one and two (my first anime, and I've never seen the whole thing), and plushie Pakkun because he looked so lonely and depressed. He's now hanging out with my Kenpachi.

Best moments, ranked in no particular order:
1) Going to McDonalds and having random tourists glee and take pictures
2) Being told by another tourist, "I don't know what's going on, but your hat is f*-ing awesome." He was late 30s-ish, and I was in my pirate costume.
3) Drinking matching drinks with Amanda and Ryan. Me, in Urahara green, with a Midori Sour. Her, with Matsumoto's blonde-ish wig, with a beer. Him, in Shunsui pink, with a pomegranite martini. Color coordination ftw.
4) Being told I move well with a fan by Dancing Kakashi. (His dance group is starting something near UCF. Lessons/routines/etc if I understood right. If anyone else in the Orlando area is interested...)
5) MAXING OUT IN THE RPG ALL FOUR YEARS. \o/
6) Pirates won. Booyah.
7) Just going to the con in general. Especially with friends. Ryan, Amanda, Andrew, Jason. It's been too long.

So. Time to sketch out cosplays, and plan for AFO 2011, San Diego ComicCon 2011, and see when Metrocon 2011 falls. Lots and lots of time. ...And do some repair work to Kisuke. His fan is on its last legs, lol. And my geta, man... yeah.
