Trip to India is booked. It cost me 1500 junior bacon cheese burgers once taxes and junk were included so I am feeling a bit broke. Also I have to stop in Frankfurt which I hear bad things about. And best of all, I am going it alone. I wanted to leave after christmas, which Hindus dont so much care about, so everyone is going earlier than I am...
I am getting quite excited even though it is soooo far away. Dhara's parents have been very kind and offered to pay for everything but my ticket, so I guess this is it expense wise.
My presence is her wedding present.
I always get a weird feeling when I spend big lettuce, and I can no longer be productive. I should leave work now. I cant think of anything to write and my boss hasent gotten back to me about the intro yet. So what is the rush?
I spent most of yesterday planning for a chemistry dept cookout. Chris and I had 2 grocery carts going but still managed to forget the buns. After getting the buns, we noticed an invasion of engineers. Somehow they got the idea that they were invited too. Their department didnt kick in any money so we didn't plan on them. Needless to say, the burgers were going as fast as we could cook them and the keg was floating by 8:00. I sorta hate engineers. I wanted to make people do some advanced chemistry before giving them a burger to weed the dudes out.
I am sharing lab space with a Russian named Sasha (who is good friends with Sasha Kaun) and to apologize for invading my space he brought me russian chocolates which are so good I cannot eat a real lunch.
