Can I just say one thing about “Vampire Diaries”? Why does Damon always get dumped on? Seriously, he gets tortured by Bonnie as she bursts things inside his head, gets set on fire by the same witch, and then he falls in love with his brother’s girl but can’t pursue her because he doesn’t want to go against Stefan? That’s not even counting what Katherine did to him emotionally. Damn, that poor vampire. Seriously, someone hug him already! I am happy the show is drawing on another of the books’ characters though. It’ll be interesting to see how Klaus fits into the picture. I’m not too sure about the “doppelganger” thing, and how Elena is supposed to break the curse on both vampires (and maybe werewolves). It’s odd to say the least. Everyone seems to be splitting into couples, Jeremy and Bonnie, Tyler and Caroline…
There end my thoughts on the show (for now, that is). I’ll comment a little about “Supernatural” because I’ve really enjoyed where the writers are taking the show. Lisa and Ben are pretty much out of the picture (as I knew they would be in the end, after all the show is about family and as much as Dean wants them to be his family, they aren’t). Soulless Sam is damn interesting, and explains quite a lot of his strange behavior; I’m just curious where his soul went to. Is it still in the cage with Lucifer? If it is, Sam’s screwed. In “Smallville” world, I’m five episodes into the fourth season, and the first ep into it was downright bizarre at times. Brainwashed Clark, dead Chloe, Lionel in prison, sick Lex, it was all randomly shoved together.
Is it wrong to admit that Kal-El (score one for brainwashing) was kind of hot? The way he went around on his mission was very amusing. Lois Lane has already stepped into the scene, though she’s a lot younger than I would have presumed. Sparks have already flown between her and Clark (of course), and Lana’s shacked up with Jason (aka Jensen Ackles ^^). You have good taste in men, Lana. Too bad I’ve read ahead and found Ackles only sticks around for one season. *grumbles underneath her breath* I shouldn’t complain since around that time, Ackles had moved onto to “Supernatural” and I’ll take that show over “Smallville” any day.
No change in my personal life, more job hunting, reading, and cleaning. I did the upstairs bathroom today, and wore myself out because I cleaned almost everything in it. I had some stuff I needed to stop thinking about, so cleaning was a good way to distract myself. I also was able to add a hell of a lot of entries into my survey diary. Keeping track of how many surfaces I clean a day is fine, but I tend to not think about them and forget when I sit down to fill the diary out. I wish the money from the pads I tested out would arrive soon; my poor debit card is living off of the checks I get from Opinion Outpost right now. Speaking of, I need to deposit one of those checks tomorrow. I was going to work on writing, but for now, I think I’ll wander off and read some more. Damn head’s still not empty, ugh…
