He is not the Lone Ranger.

I wanted to get an entry in but I don't want to go into too much detail so I figured I'd do it via smartphone using the speech to text feature. Nothing much has happened lately except on Halloween Umi-chan and I hung out. It was a cold and wet night so going out to do something was sort of out of the question, instead we stayed in and watched five out of six of the Chucky franchise films, which was rather amusing. I have a soft spot for them so I didn't mind the re-watching marathon even though I've seen the series six times by now.

It's one of those movies you pop in for background noise or you just feel like watching a homicidal doll go around killing people. I don't see the problem with that. :p It's been a weird adjustment since BV and HAX have left, most especially BV because having her here for so long was really nice, and I got used to it. Then suddenly she wasn't here so I have these moments of...I don't want to say depression but sadness when I remember something we've done or I'm somewhere we visited together.

I've been working on writing up the SB Tour notes but it's taking me awhile because as I write them, I tend to remember more details about the day in question. It takes me about two hours every time I write one. I think I've gotten six or seven days done out of the two weeks BV was here. I'm hoping to have it done by Thanksgiving at the latest. I also have a photo book to do but I'm not even remotely worried about that at this point. Given it's the holiday season, I have no doubt Shutterfly will release another 50 percent off coupon I can use. I have no idea how many pages it'll end up being, most definitely over 20. There's just way too many good pictures available to limit it.

Mom and Dad were out of town this weekend so Umi-chan kept me company. We ended up going out with Cin-chan and Tom for late night donuts and drinks. I ate a pumpkin donut and some orange juice, and Deb had a cappuccino and likewise a pumpkin donut. When we got home, we watched three episodes of "Arrow," and a spectacularly bad horror movie called "Bunnyman." As a result, we now have an inside joke that I have no doubt will be used many times.

We also watched the third episode of "Constantine," which was okay, not as good as the second though. Oddly enough, I was picking up tones of "Doctor Who" throughout the episode, which is weird. I'm not sure if the writers are doing it intentionally or it's just happening on its own. In any case, I'm still holding on to the hope that in further episodes, John will stop being a magician first and con artist second. It's all good and well sending Constantine off to do missions in America, but I would prefer he stick to his own modus operandi than the supernatural detective bit. In the comics, John was dragged into supernatural problems against his will or because there is no one else that could possibly fix it. In the TV show, he sees there's going to be trouble in a town, and off he goes to the rescue. That's totally against his character, usually John has to be blackmailed into assisting, and even then he pays a heavy price for victory.

Anyway, that's it for now. I have a couple of tasks to do before Mom and Dad get home, and before I totally forget about them, I should do them. I am totally responsible...yeah, right. :p
