I'm not a slave to a god that doesn't exist!
Ok so just a quick update. My blind date was a bust. He was nice and all, but I don't think we would have meshed well. But, Amber is hooking me up with this other guy named Justin next weekend. He's one of her Job Corps boys. She isn't exactly supposed to be hanging out with job corps students outside of work, but it's ok cause we are gonna keep it super secret. But I've already met Justin and I like him and he seems to be interested in me too. So, quick description...He's tall, skinny, blonde hair, unsure of eye color, and my favorite part...he's slightly thug. Yay!!! he's going to job corps to learn welding and then he's gonna work for his uncle's company in Greenwood. he also plans to move to the southside when he completes. So that'll be fun. Anyways, I finally bought my mixer and I'm one step closer to having my own studio. Just need recording foam, mic screen, and a cord for my soundcard and I'm set. Then Reflex is gonna burn me some copies of the new version of N Track Studio and Cool Edit Pro. Then we are gonna get together and he's gonna teach me how to be my own producer and use the mixboard correctly and what not. We've also discussed the possibility of recording people on the side for money. he's done it before and made some good cash doin' it. If I didn't get free studio time from him I'd pay him. He really is a good producer. On another note...Pagan pride is this Saturday at Broad Ripple Park. I've been trying to go to this thing for like 3 years and I've missed it every year because I have no memory. It's on my calendar this year though and I'm taking a group of friends who also keep reminding me. Finally I'll get to go. It should be interesting and enlightening at the same time. I hope I meet some cool like-minded people.
