I had one of my designs laser cut from chipboard by a local stationery shop and it was so delightful to receive them. It's awesome when your designs come true! I committed the sin of buying supplies without having a plan for them, however. I just knew I wanted to make Christmas ornaments. My mom is a very frequent customer at a ceramic painting place (she says it's cheaper than therapy), and they were having a Halloween painting party. So, she invited me and my daughters to come and paint things for Halloween. And bonus, she got to see grandchildren.
