Caved and started re-playing Tales of the Abyss... on hard mode. >.<;;; I never re-play games and I never go out of my way to intentionally make things more difficult for myself. Just finished my first playthrough of Suikoden V. It's sad. T_T Wasn't able to collect all 108 stars, so I'll have to replay it sometime later. Took me 81 hours, on par with Suikoden III. I'm 15 hours into the game and totally loving it. Konami did a fantastic job on 5, bringing us a game, which to me, has all the indications of what is a true Suikoden game. The game starts off a little slow, but as the story builds, it builds in tension and desperation, a quality that was missing in Suikoden 3 and 4, imo. In fact, it feels very ( Read more... )

Junko Kawano should never be let near another Suikoden game (or any other game, in fact) until she takes some classes on creative writing. >.>;;;; Honestly, there are just so many times variations of the same gimmick/plot device can be used in a story.
