Accident!
Been meaning to post about this for a while now.
In June I was on my way to pick up my paycheck with my girlfriend. I had just slowed down to a stop at a traffic light and just as the light turns green, a lady comes flying and her car slams into the rear bumper of my car!
There was basically no real damage to my car but her front license plate flew off and her hood was sandwiched in a v shape. The lady was totally at fault, the cop even said so. She even knew she was at fault but she tried coming up with this utterly ridiculous story to try to cover up for her mistakes.
I got a settlement of $405 out of it which is not bad.
The downside to all this though was that about an hour after the accident my girlfriend started to feel pain in her shoulder and arm.
We later found out it was a form of whiplash . . .not good.
Hope things work out for the best on this and she can get better.
