The problem with knowing, writing and reading two languages fluently is that sometime you begin mixing them up.
This was how I came to this situation:
Netta: *plots madly this PARAGRAPH. Not story, not scene, PARAGRAPH* So . . . Snape should be floating, and if I want to allude to the future I should have his mouth be kafutz--
Netta: Wait. Hold on. What does Kafutz mean again? I could swear that it means 'clenched' or something. . . . Or maybe it was 'kamutz'? Hrr. But no, it has to be kafutz, because kafutz sounds right although a bit silly. But does 'kafutz' have anything with 'jumping' {=the root K-F-TZ means 'jump' in Hebrew}?-- but it can't be kamutz because. Because. Why? oh, wtf. *checks Babylon*
Babylon: KAFUTZ: closed tight, clamped, clenched
Netta: VICTOLY
Babylon: KAMUTZ: to make a fist
Netta: o_O I'd forgotten it was a real word. Oh well, Snape's mouth will be clamped shut~
In other words. Yeah. Both my Hebrew and my English are disintegrating. . . . But to be fair with myself, had I seen Kafutz and Kamutz in a sentence and in context, I'd have remembered them in an instant.
and. er. story is taking over me. hlp.
