visa for romania

I am filling out a visa request for Romania. Question 13: "Type of passport". These are my options:

- Diplomatic passport
- Service passport
- Alien's passport
- National passport {I think I have this.}
- Travel document (1951 Conv.)
- Seaman's passport
- Other travel document (please specify)

I can sort of guess what 'Seaman's passport' is, but what the hell is Alien's passport? *imagines big-headed, green-skinned and totally black-huge-eyed aliens hopping off their dish in the middle of Romania*
