Dreams: The Boy Lost in the Goblin Market

Nov 08, 2013 01:22

Before I can talk about things, I have to bore you with the second dream, which is actually really sexy and you should read it. It’s also really sad, though nobody dies and there were no injured kittens or anything.

The second dream was similar to the first in many ways. (DW and LJ links.)

Things were really beautiful at first.

Obviously this is some kind of fairy plot, or a fairy was paid to do the glamour so that the abduction could happen and the boy has to find the clues to rescue them. :)
I bet there are clues. I bet, it being Goblin Market, he could risk something of deep value for the riddle/first clue of this journey.
Dare even his status as a familiar, only to be claimed again. :)
(Or that's where I'd go. :))

By the way, you have the most awesome dreams. This is awesome and I would love to see it developed. :)

*sits and waits. ;)*

Edit: And by "best", I mean awesome narrative potential, because if I had that dream, I think I would wake up feeling panicked, freaked, and bereft. Aiee!

I woke up feeling a little sad, and intensely aroused. It was awkwaaaard. XD

I STINK at writing mystery-type stuff, but getting to the end of this story might bee worth trying.

He was such a very good boy, and I feel so very sorry for him.

It's interesting that of the three of them, he was the most vulnerable AND the most valuable (he could be controlled and used, the other two were powerful, yes, but not particularly tractable as a result). And HE was the one left to either figure it out or find somewhere else to go. Definitely a good start to a story.

I relate to this dream in my own weird way. Not to all of it but to some of it.

I was going to suggest to to write it out to finish it! :) Keep us updated?

Awwwwwwwwwww! :( Made me think of the stories about dogs who wait on their masters graves, or that dog who waited at the train station for years.

I *HATE* person/people has/have disappeared dreams! They really are horrible and the feeling of loneliness and abandonment is crushing. But as others have said, this has the makings of a really great story, with fantasy and kink both.

At the very least, the human familiar idea has to be used, because it's intensely sexy. I mean, DAMMMMMMN.

ETA: Actually, if I ever did a sequel to Witches' Mark, that'd be what Darius would be good for. Innnnnteresting.

DAAAAAAMN

*LMAO*

I've been tempted to just write random fanfic about my own characters, to avoid having to come up with a plot, so I could just have FUN with it. I know a lot of folks didn't Get Him, but I wish I'd been able to spend more time with him. He kind of got really badly broken there at the end, and I feel awful that I never got to undo any of that...

It was heartbreaking.

If I ever write it, it will have a happy ending, but . . . yeah. Poor puppy.
