Thing I Made Thursday, one day early! To make up for all the days-late posts!
Serenity was awfully secretive about her name. She wouldn't give me anything, and then she gave me that, and I was like, "So simple? Okay!" What the pony wants, the pony gets.

His congenital brain dysfunctions are also fascinating - severe ADHD, severe dyslexia, brain moves too quickly for his hands so his handwriting is worse than a doctor's, weird ways of seeing the entire universe. Medically he is considered dysfunctional, but for him it is all advantages with occasional disadvantages. It means he is excellent at martial arts, biology, physics, chemistry, magic, visual arts, psychic ability, etc.
He can also be an absolute douchebag if people can't keep up with how he works, but he knows that and he always apologizes and makes amends. He is extremely unique among unique brains. Doctors have always been fascinated.
Yes, the flight was crazy. Well, not the actual flight, but checking in and all that. I had accidentally kept a dagger that Adam had given me at the bottom of my check-in luggage, and when they saw it, they almost wouldn't allow me on the plane and were damn close to calling security. My parents were so angry at me. They quickly made up a story about how I was a gamer and forgot to take it out of the bag, etc, and that I was mentally disabled and had memory issues, and I honestly had no idea how horrifyingly bad it could have been. Everything was still a mess at airports everywhere in the country and everyone was really paranoid about everything.
I cannot remember why, but that flight had somehow been my only chance to help convince Adam's parents to let me move in, and we used his cousin's wedding as an excuse to fly me there, and I just quietly moved in and stayed. But man, going through the airport eleven days after 9/11... hooo!
