Apparently, at some point, I wrote four pages in my little bedside notebook about an artifact known as the "Fork of Horripilation*."

I have no memory of writing this.

Perhaps it was Ms Knightley-Someday. Although if it was, I have to confess her handwriting looks nothing like I thought it would ( Read more... )

I know the exact pterosaur, as chance would have it.

But he didn't stay a minion. And "dismembered at the bottom of a cliff" is a pretty solid value of "horribly, horribly wrong."

There's a quest in Morrowind that involves the Fork of Horripilation... do your 4 pages have anything to do with the Mad God?

Aha! I never played Morrowind, but that must be where I got it. There must have been a reference to it in Skyrim or Oblivion, or I ran across it on the wiki, or something, and my subconscious just ran with it.

There's a quest that involves the Fork in the Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion. Don't remember much, but it was given to you by an Argonian.
