Oh, maaaaan, there's this place on 15th Street called Mary's, and it's this little hole-in-the-wall Italian diner, family-owned, and it's fabulous for many reasons, one of which is their homemade tiramisù. It's huge, serving two EASILY, and they make it right there in these little ceramic ramekins or whatever they are called. It is OH GOD SO GOOD. Always perfectly cold, the ladyfingers are never too wet, and the cocoa on top is the real deal, and laid on thick. The first time I had it I thought I had died and gone to heaven

Awww, hon, I'm sorry things are so crappy right now. :( *hugs* I don't know what you're referring to with the strip search thing though. That's disconcerting, to say the least though... *headdesk* I'm flying in May, so I'm kinda wondering if it refers to something with the airlines.... And that's terrible about what's going on in your town right now! D:
Strip search ruling? That's new to me, will have to Google...
Post whatever you want... Right now there is a lot of shared rage about stuff going on "out there", and while I share the sentiments, I can totally understand how it's difficult to figure out what to write... I'm kinda there too... I'd like to say something, but is it worth it to just repeat what everyone else has already said, and probably better than me anyway... *shrug*
Believe me, I know the feeling about the spoons (bipolar cycling FTW) and being tired and the rage and the sadness over how crazy legislation and humanity has become. I've muted so many friends on Facebook because they are men who are excited that women's rights are more trampled on under the guise of pro-life and "men know best". I am a bisexual woman, and a Latter Day Saint. I have always had my quibbles with the patriarchy built into the religious systems as a whole...
Now society is backsliding even more into the male domination... Well, the earlier type. It never went away, did it?
I'm so tired. Luckily, my husband's lightbulb went on when I told him how the birth control debate would affect him. If my IUD gets taken out in five years when we want kids... what are the chances it will be available and affordable after we have our two kids? Once it meant something to him, relevant to his life, it all made sense. That is what I've been doing all over Facebook lately. Trying to turn people away from the rhetoric and back to the

I got sterilized in 2009 when I had insurance (I don't now) because I was afraid for the future of women's rights. :( I'm sooooo glad I got it done and am appalled my fears are coming true! The "men" doing these things and also supporting these things don't strike me as "men" but boys instead.
