WOW! That bad, huh? I hate the fucking snow -- especially when you need to carry on normal existence. My mate, Joanne, enjoys it -- even likes shovelling it! Gah!

Pretty much the exact same thing happened here back in December and we didn't have as much as 16 inches. Maybe a foot tops. We didn't get our bins picked up for 3 weeks.

Time to persuade your doc to use skype, if it just needs to be face to face rather than actually prod anything?

(ok, so getting doctors to skype may be optimistic - but would a phone surgery help?)

I'd get you to your doctors, but I refuse to even leave the house right now. Seriously, I think I've stepped onto the patio ONCE. I just don't trust other drivers in this stuff, and I'd have to wait for you at the top of the hill, anyway.

Love it! I'm in OKC, but I lived my first 23 of 24 years in Michigan, so I'm used to this level of snow being weekly if not daily thing. What I'm not used to is this foot or more of snow completely shutting down the state for days or a week at a time due to inability to clear the snow properly!

Oh, we don't have real plows. We have trucks with big shovels on the front. They aren't big or heavy enough to really push through snow like this.

Yeah, we have sand too, which is mostly all they use. They haven't even sanded this time. WTFFF?
