LJers louisadkins and omimouse just lost their baby daughter Amber Rose yesterday. She was not quite two weeks old.
This is a hard thing coming at the end of a couple of years of hard things for them. Any support you can offer, any good thoughts, candles, prayers, whatever you've got, would be welcome. They are good people, and do not deserve this. God, nobody deserves this. I know I'm supposed to be a crusty, misanthropic old bitch, but nobody, nobody should outlive their child.
On the practical side, in addition to hospital expenses they have funeral costs to deal with. They have a donation link up at Omi's profile.
