I took some pics of the cats last night. And, behold, I have put Flickr to its intended use once again, instead of using it for boring art crap.
Behold!
Fish and her crazy face!
RISE, zombie Fish! RIIIISE!!!
A friend demonstrates proper Fish-prodding technique.
Please do note that this cat is fat enough to have actual buttcheeks.
SO. ANGRY.
And here, the source of the crazy face. Elvis has left the building.
She is so gosh-darn cuddly, though.
Tazendra, in a rare adorable moment, sleeping in my lap with her head on my keyboard. This is her favorite spot: in my way.
Tazendra is very seldom cute, a simple byproduct of her general unphotographabile black exterior, a face that naturally looks more fiendish and less friendly, and her general disinterest in chase-type play. Sometimes, though, she is very cute.
See? Any other cat would look cute here. She just looks possessed.
Well, okay. That's cute.
Obligatory black cat with pumpkin picture. Real cat. Not a real pumpkin.
She lets me pet her belly. Only when nobody else is watching.
Now, there is something in this picture I feel I should point out to you, which is that she has, for a cat with only medium-long hair, these enormous toe-weeds that sort of defy description. To wit:
They are well over an inch long.
I am sure that many of you have longhaired cats with much more impressive toe-weeds. Feel free to post pictures! I never get tired of looking at other people's cats.
And, last, a picture that, without my meaning it to, sums up a good chunk of my life:
You can click through for the mouse-over notes if you like. Two out of three cats, my crafting stuff, my gaming stuff, my comfy blanket. All it's missing is Sargon and Fish.
Anyway, I hope you had a good Halloween. We had a very nice time. And lots of trick-or-treaters! I love that there's one night a year when adorable kids in costumes come to my house and I get to give them candy. Yes, I know, I don't care for the company of children, but when you put them in cute little outfits . . . well . . . how could I not love that?
