The current total is an amazing $487, plus a good $50 in uncleared paypal funds. :D

I'm going to call and ask about it. It looks like she might be going back in to the vet today, though. Received this from my mom this morning.

"She's home but she's not doing well. I am feeding her with a syringe, but she's not using the litter box.
I'm going to call the vet again. She is just skin and bones and fits in your hand.
I can't even describe her color- she is a pale brownish grey with long hair and an orange spot on her head.
She is a little love though, and purrs when you hold her.
I will just die if she doesn't make it...."

Poor angel!

Hopefully that'll be easy enough to fix. She should definitely take her back to the vet, though.

I will keep my fingers crossed for her. Poor baby.

I gave her a call, but didn't hear back yet, so she might be out at the vet now.

The fund is $467, with a TON in uncleared payments. I think it will hit $600! I'm probably going to close the donations pretty soon. I'm still amazed at how generous people can be - it hasn't even been two days!

If there's excess from the bills, is there any way you'd prefer the money to be spent? My mom does have other rescue animals, including 4 horses and other cats, so I'm sure she could use it for them. Or put it aside in case Leeloo has further troubles.

I can also ask her to donate any excess to the ASPCA or something similar if you prefer!

I'd say for practical purposes, keep it safe until Leeloo is safe, and then either donate it to the vet clinic's "angel fund" or keep it for the rescue horsies and kitties. Can't go wrong either way.

If you cut off donations, and she winds up needing more help, I can put the word out again no problem.
