A complete pigraping bastard, that's who. The ONLY thing that would've kept me from following and beating the SHIT out of someone like that would be stopping to rescue the kitten. Motherfuckers would be LUCKY.
I started out as a person who loved animals more than people, changed my mind, then lately, changed it back again. I do love people. I do. We're an amazing species, and we do wonderful stuff, but there is no excuse for the awful stuff. None at all.
It's a great comfort to me that I probably could get off on account of being crazy, were I to wallop someone in defense of a fuzzy little critter.

God, I have two kittens here I have to integrate with the other cats but it's just not taking. Jezzie and Molly both hate the newcomers. Then again, I know it doesn't happen overnight.
You can try it at this point but I think there's a window of opportunity there when they're first introduced. They get to know each other by smell first, then sight.
I know what you mean. We have the 3 Elder Cats (between 12-14 years old), and recently added 3 ex-ferals to the mix: a momcat, and 2 of the kittens she had in our shed (the 3rd kitten didn't seem to have made it, sadly- we tried for 10 days with no luck, having caught the kittnes on the first night and mom on the second
