Tomorrow we go to look at a bunch of houses in my dad's neighborhood, and a couple of them look like excellent prospects. It would be really fantastic to live closer to my dad. A couple of the houses are within spitting distance of him. Another is cattycorner to the house of my hopeless childhood crush, whom I'll have to tell you about sometime

Just pull a few LJ polls all at once to make those tough LJ decisions. I've had to cut a few down recently... I can only imagine what kind of crap you go through; I can barely maintain 80 people.

I can't speak for other people, but I don't get offended when someone has a reason to not friend me back. I sometimes have trouble keeping up with forty-odd friends and several multiple-posts-per-day communities. Being friended by a thousand people is awesome, but attempting to keep up with even one-fourth of that would be beyond me.

Speaking as someone whose flist is mostly full of comms - my actual friends are mainly not regular talkers, or they journal on their galleries - I don't know what to tell you.

Oh, btw - I found out recently that one of the leftovers from my last major hospital stint is vampire scars on my neck! Actually they're morphine injection scars but they look like vampire scars - I thought I'd tell you because there's a chance you'd find it amusing too.

Its never an easy decision, trimming your friends list. I know a lot of people take it personally, and I think its because of the wording. "friends". Just because you have me added doesn't make me your real actual friend, I'm just someone you allow to see more of your private thoughts - not really the same thing.

For me, and can't speak for anyone else here, I have you friended because I love reading what you have to say. I don't expect you to read me back in return, and I also don't expect to become OMG BFF with you just because I like what you have to say - your personal life is your personal life, and I wouldn't be offended in the least by you wanting to keep that behind filters where random internet strangers can't see it. If taking me off of your f-list makes things a little bit easier - please, remove me. The last thing I would ever want to be is a burden.

Now that I've seen a skull, I see why they call a muntjac a devil deer. But in person, they're really, really cute. They're so small, they're like lap deer.
