Spring Break

Sorry I haven't been updating much as of late, but I've been keeping myself pretty busy over the week:
Saturday night was my first bar-hop, and it was good. We started out at Hess's, followed by Good Old Days, and concluded at the Paddock. Huey and I managed to run the table for several games of pool, and the bets were beers, so it all worked out well.
Sunday was the ride home as well as a curious expedition involving Evan Peters, Justin Ogden, and a "Mandarin gazebo," and some minor trespassing in Carversville followed by dinner at the New Hope Eagle Diner.
Monday we finally took down Christmas. Yeah, I know it was March 8th. To be honest, that doesn't bother me terribly. Robin proposed (and I supported) the idea of just throwing some white plastic bags over the stuff and then revealing them again in November. Didn't work out, as fate and my parents would have it.
Tuesday was the visit from Bloom people. I tried to show them what Bucks County has to offer, but this only made me realize I don't know terribly much about what Bucks County has to offer. I would say that oblivious and reclusive is no way to go through life, but so far I don't have any major complaints. Luckily Evan joined us, contributing a general direction for the day in addition to his more literal navigational help.
Today's been pretty low-key so far. I "made" pancakes for everybody before kicking them out. More accurately, I prepared pancakes with a batter my mom had mixed the night before. I certainly am glad she compensates so well for my ineptitude. I didn't burn them or anything though, so that's go to count for something. My grandfather is having his pacemaker replaced today as well, so he'll be staying with us for a while. Matt and I had to move the twin bed out of her room and downstairs, and she hadn't cleaned up beforehand, so that was an adventure. At some point I'll be heading out on a couple of different expeditions, one business and the other aimless.
Well, there you have it, and hopefully Ali will leave me on her friends list now.
