Of a rainy day and loving all the four seasons (=killing time while waiting for the Bremen-FCB game)
It has been raining the whole day here--a true, Finnish Autumn day, I guess. When I woke up this morning at around 9.30, it was so dark, I actually thought about just sleeping some more, because I was sure it had to be a much earlier hour. But I don't really mind all that much. I mean, I like Autumn, just the same way I like all the other seasons. I couldn't imagine living without any of them.
I especially love the change of the seasons. The first sunny, but still cool Spring day after a cold and dark Winter and the fresh, new shade of green of the first leaves; the first really warm days of Summer and the warm and light evenings that seem to go on forever; the Autumn colors and the first cold mornings when you have to dress warm, yet you are still freezing the whole day, because you are not used to the cold; and the falling of the first snow that makes everything look clean and new and brings so much more light to the dark days, and those frosty, bright days when everything smells fresh.
What I like about rainy and stormy days like this is that I can, with good conscience, just stay in, drink a lot of tea or coffee, cuddle up on a couch and do absolutely nothing. So, at the moment I'm just enjoying my own company and waiting for the first Bundesliga live game of the season in Finland: Werder Bremen-FC Bayern Munchcen. When they finally decided to start, they are starting big ;). I'm hoping that it will be a good game (no matter what the end result turns out to be). I'm hoping that FCB will win, but I won't be too devastated even if Bremen wins since they are one of my top three favorite clubs. Most of all I'm hoping that all my favorite players will play well and that both teams will play good football (and not the kind of football they played in their last CL games).
Well, back to making tea and back to the couch to wait for the game to start :).
