It was my job to keep Naomi_Watts occupied while Russell, Bella and Con got things ready for the party. I called her saying that I was dragging her out for drinks and dancing. We went out to a club and had a few drinks, then my phone rang, and it was Russ saying everyone was there and to come home.
I waited another 20 minutes then told Nomi I had the worst headache and would she mind if we went home. I could see the disappointment on her face, but she quickly hid it and we started off home. The house was a little dark *laughs* and Nomi asked where Russ and the kids where, I shrugged and said he'd mentioned going out for icecream but that I wasn't sure.
I ask Nomi to open the door as my headache was bad and I was having trouble seeing. Consequently she was the first one through the door and met with lights bursting on and people yelling "HAPPY BIRTHDAY NAOMI!". The look on her face was amazing *laughs* but the look she gave me could have killed *smiles*.
adam_garcia came over to wish Nomi a happy birthday, he'd flown back especially for he party and I could see she was just so happy to see him. heatherlocklear was there and we snuck off to have a chat while the party went on. sean_hayes the life of any party was running around being his usual amazing self and russell_crowe ever the dedicated host was making sure that the bar ran dry, *winks* everyones glasses were kept full.
