Kamenashi stepped into the house and threw the keys aside.
The jingle jangle seemed to echo louder than before, and the house suddenly felt bigger.
That's stilly, he thought. The house doesn't suddenly just decide to get bigger overnight.
He dumped the takeout on the coffeetable, and the thought of eating alone makes him lose his appetite.
It has only been three days and already, it felt like eternity. How is he going to survive 6 months?
Finally he crawled into bed, not wanting to think anymore. Sleeping would at least allow his over exhuasted mind to rest a little. Or so he thought.
He dreamt of Akanishi leaving. He was down on his knees, at Akanishi's doorstep, crying and begging. But Akanishi was unmoved. He was tugging and pulling at his jeans, yelling something like "I love you, please don't leave me" admist the wailing. But Akanishi left in the end, without even a backward glance, leaving Kamenashi to drown in his own pool of tears.
He woke up with a start, and found the pillow drenched. How is it that even in his dream, it would be of Akanishi leaving? He checked the bedside clock. It was 3:30 in the morning. Damn. He switched on the radio, not wanting to feel so alone. He needed so much for someone else's voice to fill his apartment.
The DJ was taking late night calls.
- Hi, you're one lucky caller. What's your name?
- Urm. I'll just go by BJ. haha.
BJ. Bakanishi Jin?
- Hi BJ, what're you doing up so late?
- Well... I'm studying for some English test tomorrow, so yea...
English? Goodness Isn't that what Akanishi left for.
- Ok what would you like to hear?
- How bout Easy Go Lucky, the duet version by Kamenashi and Akanishi-Chan.
- No problemos. Happy studying!
Damnnn. The last thing he needed to hear was a duet Akanishi and him. He immediately flicked the radio off and plonked back in bed, determined to get some rest. But he lied there, tossing and turning, slipping in and out of sleep.
Dawn finally broke and Kamenashi got up with the thought of fixing himself some cheer-up food. But before he stepped into the kitchen, the doorbell rang.
That's early, he thought. Who could it be?
He was surprised to welcome a DHL delivery man. A parcel? This early?
He set the box on his table and stared at it for a second before opening it.
A heart-shaped cake greeted him. It read: For Kame-chan. Missing you already. <3 Jin
Kamenashi's heart melted as he stared at the words. Oh, Jin!! <333
He felt his eyes turn hot for abit, and he laughed about it. That bakanishi! He smiled stupidly at the cake, biting his lip to surpress a giggle.
He dipped his finger into the cream and put it into his mouth. The cream melted instantly, but all Kamenashi could feel was the warmth and sweetness spreading through his body.
