Superstorm/Hurricane Sandy
Hey- I'd like to apologize for being a dork. During Sandy, I was posting to Facebook when I could to let people know we were alright, but it didn't occur to me to post here, as well. I don't think that's because I don't think about LJ any longer, rather it was because I was posting from my phone and doing my best not to use up all of my phone's charge.
So, we're fine. We lost a large tree bough, had no power for 5 days, lost a bunch of frozen food and fretted a lot, but that's hardly anything in the grand scheme of things.
The storm that came after had an open area in it, and that's what passed over us, so we didn't lose power and we didn't get any snow, just some worrisome winds.
How are all of you?
