I'm about to head off to the Nuthouse for yet another day of inspecting parts. It's income, I guess, but the way gas prices are headed right now ($3.09 yesterday, some places are at $3.50 and climbing) I don't know how much longer I'll be able to afford working there.
It says very sad things about the economic situation when people who want to work aren't able to because they can't pay for the necessary transportation to get them to the jobs. Moving isn't an option right now either. So until and unless we get some sort of break in prices (or I find something that pays a heck of a lot better than what I'm getting), I'm stuck. And potentially screwed.
Off to work with me. Pizza is being brought in for lunch today, so I don't have to worry about a meal; just about getting back and forth until I get a "real" paycheck.
