If you know any independent film makers who want to get their work showcased, would you send them my way? i'm organizing a film festival at the uni i go to, and the more submissions we get the better. thanks!

I'm not quite sure what you're looking for...

If you just want non-Hollywood films, then sure, there's thousands of them around. For example, tonight I watched the Belgian film "Iedereen beroemd!" which was great. Or do you want up and coming film makers? That would be more difficult. I mean, the films I watch tend to be the "famous" ones that win film festivals etc. Of course they are only really "famous" among people who are into indy films.

We're looking for up and coming amateur filmmakers who want to get their work seen. If you know anyone like that, please send him/her my way. :)

i fucking love STREETCAR. marlon brando is the shit. so. Damn. HOT. if i were stella, i'd consider going back to him and getting me some of that too. STREETCAR gets quoted all the time around here. the only thing i hate about that movie is the ending. fucking director ruined it by diverging from williams text. which adaption are you going to watch?

I saw some boy about my age reading CS Lewis on the subway this morning and was filled with disgust. You know the type: sorta cute, but has a weak chin, snarky sense of humor, but can't take a joke. It made me very agitated. I bet he listens to Death Cab.

Is this claire?

That sounds like me when I was 13. I was reading narnia books over and over, and listening to the most depressing music I could find, and didn't like it when I thought people were making fun of me.
