ZOMG you guys.
So, chapter 13A (still far from finished I'm afraid) covers Jose's birthday -> Liv's birthday (4 days) and, within that, the birth of Jose's first child, so, now that I can play my old game for a bit without it crashing again, I started playing specifically to get to the births. I was thinking of playing so that all the babies of the next generation are born, but that would take aaaages unless I cheated them, and I don't know how I'd then get the pictures I need for future chapters where spouses need to be pregnant and we need babies rather than toddlers which you obviously can't create in CAS.
Anyway, yes, the first member of generation 4 proper has been born and said baby is quite interesting enough on its own, but I don't want to tell you everything about that already. Then I got another set of natural twins to a couple who should only be having one baby, but it's the fourth baby of the the day that's really interesting. I wish I could show you pictures for all this, but old laptop crashed anyway, so I don't have them on here.
Basically, it has Birch's blonde hair. And I mean, absolutely definitely his blonde hair:
Birch (blo/blo) + Carla (bla/bla) -> Nicola (bla/blo) + Alvin (br/br) -> Calvin (br/blo) + DJ (bla/bla) -> Isabel (bla/blo) + Kampol (red/red) -> baby (blo/red)
You probably think I'm sad getting all excited about this. Said baby also has skin tone four, though not light blue eyes like Birch had (though it might have that as a recessive). You might be thinking "That's nice, but that baby's only a... distant (second) cousin? Does it really matter?" To which I say: "YES. Because now I know who the heir for generation four is even though they're not born yet and that whole plot line I've been talking about just has to go ahead." Thank you, Isabel Verse, you've just solidified my plans for like the whole next generation and a little bit beyond. Squee.
In other news from my game, rather interesting statistics for generation four so far:
Average nice points for girls: 8.3
Average nice points for boys: 3.25
I don't think I've ever seen such a distinct gender difference. The highest number of nice points for boys is 8, the lowest number for girls is 5. It would be stereotypical if it weren't completely random.
For comparison:
Gen 1 Female: 5
Gen 1 Male: 7
Gen 2 Female: 5.57
Gen 2 Male: 4.7
Gen 3 Female: 5.6
Gen 3 Male: 4.83
Statistics is fun ^_^
