Yeah, be warned. This post is me whining.
Remember my previous post, http://mztasia.livejournal.com/99027.html , I made about my making the cake for gothkytten ? Well it is now 3/18 0419 (22 hours later) and the cake is still untouched. Thus far the only comment it has received from her has been "that was nice of you". I am trying REALLY hard not to be upset. Did I expect backflips or profuse gratitude? no. I would have liked the damn cake to have been at least sampled. I know she likes chocolate as when she is at a restaurant she always gets the "death by chocolate" type desserts. Guess it's just another example of me setting myself up for disappointment. I cant expect others to react the way I do to things but I would have expected a little more.. I dunno... appreciation.
Ok. Whine over. Live moves on, lesson learned. No more made from scratch nostalgic surprises.
