The cussing has begun...

Ok I will manage to make it into the late 20th century. Seeing as how cable braodband is the only game in town (that I can afford anyway. I cant afford sat system set up, and DSL wont be out here till 2010) I am rather stuck with the jerks of Charter Communications.

Now, as I mentioned in my previous post in reply to I know there will not be tears as hubby used to work for Charter and I know how they work. I did expect to cuss alot though I admit in the 8 years since I last dealt with them I had forgotten how soon the cussin would begin.

They were supposed to be out Saturday the 12th between 0900 and 1300. This also was the day of my company picnic (you know the kind, the big blow out bash where the term picnic is used but its a rather catered affair completed with petting zoos and pony rides for the tykes, rock climbing walls and horseback riding for the adults and other such amusments) which we usually like to attend, but seeing as how we are excited to be moving up in the world to the late 20th century forms of communication we opted to not attend this year. So stay home we did. And wait... and waited some more. At 1330 hubby calls Charter only to be told "oh, I'm sorry sir, your work order got messed up and put in the computer for 1300 to 1700. The technician will be there this afternoon". Ok. So wait some more. Then at 1605 we get a call from Charter "sir, I'm sorry but the technician didnt get the work order and is already back at the base office. The soonest he can be out will be Tuesday the 15th between 0800 and noon".

I think I am going to learn to cuss in a few more languages as the ones I know now arent enough.
