This shot summarizes my experience of Venice pretty well: acres of cheap tat being sold against an endless backdrop of gorgeous buildings.

Venice reminded me of a lot of Burning Man -- no motor vehicles, huge crowds there eager to see and experience, lots of people in costume. One big difference: moop was not only okay, but encouraged.

This is one of my favourite shots of the trip.
