Twitch City, Episode 1
Twitch City was a short-lived, quirky, brilliant (IMO) Canadian show. It was directed by Bruce MacDonald (Kids in the Hall), who also appeared in cameos as a talk show host. Don McKellar co-wrote and starred in it. Other cast included Molly Parker (Swingtown), Callum Keith Rennie (BSG), and Daniel MacIvor (um...hilarious Canadian comedian). Think of it as a bizarre Canadian take on The Odd Couple, in which Oscar is an agoraphobic tv addict, Felix loses it and gets arrested for killing a spanger in the first episode, and Felix's girlfriend ends up sleeping with Oscar.
Inspired by a comment on my last news post about having clearly defined chores in a shared house, I hunted up the first episode, posted as an online video, in which the colour-coded Chore Wheel features prominently.
