I wish I wanted a "normal" life with rug rats and other drooling miniature humanoids ... um, sometimes. Or, more of my friends didn't want kids either. (Note to self: join childfree group soon).
I wish females were more rational.
I wish people of both genders would stop thinking with their emotions so much.
I wish people would stop assuming that if you try to use your reason and brain to think that you MUST also be heartless and cold.
I wish there were more men who were stable, responsible, successful, masculine, hard-working, confident, wise, kind, intelligent, and extremely interesting too. Like Teddy Roosevelt. Where are all the Teddy Roosevelts of the world?
I wish I could be Ree Drummond for a day (the Pioneer Woman:
http://thepioneerwoman.com/ ). If Ree knew this she'd surely laugh. She's just a lady who lives in Oklahoma on a ranch with a cowboy husband & a bunch of rug rats & dogs & horses who cooks and writes books for a living. Oh, wait, that's kinda the life I want! Well, except for the rug rats ...
I wish I was more motivated to write in this blog more often. I had some good times hanging out here back in the day.
I wish people would stop playing the "race card." Seriously. It's getting laughable.
I wish there were about, oh, 40 hours in a day instead of a paltry 24. And we only needed about 4 hours of sleep a night instead of 8, or in my lame case, 9.3. (Note to self: ask God this perplexing question one day when he's not busy like, fighting demons or mowing the lawns of his celestial paradise or whatever...).
I wish people had higher standards, for themselves and others.
I wish I could be my totally enlightened self for a day (like, I'm talkin' absolute TOP of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, man!), just to see what I'm like. Maybe that would motivate me more...
I wish the weather in South/Central Texas was like October's 75% of the time.
I wish I had some wasabi peas and popcorn right now ...
Oh, and a job!
(but that's okay, I'll settle for a beer for now ...)
What do you wish?
