Hi everyone! Sorry I've not been back with an update - it's too hard for my fat old fingers to update from my phone, and all my laptops - ALL MY LAPTOPS - why the hell do I have so many laptops??? - were otherwise engaged. :P
First, best news! The power cord I ordered finally arrived and it 100% solved the problem with my Wacom! I am kind of shocked, as I had just replaced it 6 months ago, but I am super grateful it was a cord problem and not a hardware problem!
My keyboard on my main laptop was sticking and the warranty is finished, so I took it to a regular mac repair shop and the lovely guy there told me that apple had a recall going on the keyboards for this model, so I got it repaired for freebies and wow the new keyboard is a dream.
Thank you all so much for the support and the great suggestions and the offers of helping out financially should I need to replace my Wacom - I so appreciate all your kindness and friendship. ❤️❤️❤️
I am dreadfully behind with the 25 Days of Drawing - but I am committed to getting all 25 pieces done, even if it drags into the new year! I am about halfway done with my entry for hoggywartyxmas and am actually kind of antsy to post this and go work on it.
I had a job interview (the job that initially asked if I wanted a few weeks' work in December. I had told them no, lol, but if they were looking for January we should talk) on Monday and it seemed to go well. I don't think the pay will be great but I also don't think the work will be difficult. And I made sure to check that there weren't any surprise programs I would have to master to do it, haha. Anyway, they will let me know sometime if it's on or not.
Honey and her elbows are doing great! We continue our short walks to the front yard. It's best when someone is walking down the street, as we get to bark a little then. Bobi Fett got an A+ report from the vet, no sign of any bladder issues, hurray! Oyster is still losing weight and trying to eat all Bobi's food, so now I have to isolate Bobi and am hoping he can gain a pound or so. Poor Oyster, I feel you, bro! I'm hungry too!
Family is wanting me to come to AZ for xmas but I think I can't, really. Honey needs too much care and I hate to leave the cats alone so I think I'll celebrate here by myself again this year. I did it last year and it was fine :D
