I watched Rasing Helen for the billionth time tonight, and no matter how many times I watch it, I still love it. Kate Hudson is one of my most favourite actresses on the planet! She’s so warm and bubbly, especially in cute comedy movies. John Corbett? He’s really cool too! I quite like him. And Abby Breslin is probably one of the most adorable child actresses around! I really want to see Little Miss Sunshine now.

1. November Rain By Guns N Roses - Wow, words can’t even describe how much I love this song! The lyrics are amazing, but Slash’s guitar solo combined with the piano always sends shivers down my spine. It’s a song that I’m always going to associate certain memories with, especially ones of highschool. I don’t think I’m ever going to stop loving this song :D
2. Three Libra’s by A Perfect Circle - This is for pretty much the same reasons as November Rain. It’s a combination of simple lyrics that stand out against the beautiful, emotive music. Its just…wow. It pulls at my heart strings every time I hear it!
3. Perfect by The Smashing Pumpkins - Again, this is for a lot of the same reasons as above. But what I really like about this song, is how serene and lullaby-like it sounds. Its so pretty :D
4. Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again From The Phantom of the Opera - At the beginning of last year, my music teacher made us perform songs from the Phantom of the Opera, and I fell in love with all of them. Gosh, I really couldn’t choose my favourite song from the lot, but Wishing is definitely one of them, with Music in the Night a close second. It’s my dream one day to play Christine, or at least perform one of these songs.
5. Somewhere out There By Our Lady Peace. Haha, yeah a lot of my songs are kinda emo. But I like this song because to me, it just has a sense of hope weaved into the lyrics.
6. Extraordinary by Liz Phair - This is such a catchy song! I just want to get up and dance whenever I hear it.
7. The Saga Begins and White and Nerdy by Weird Al - I couldn’t choose between the two! They’re two songs that embrace my geekdom/nerdydom.
I rly wanted to mention Evanesence, U2, Coldplay and Crowded house too! But maybe next time.
