Staring out the window, watching the lake makes me think of this past summer. I'm not sure if it was good or bad. Maybe both, I don't know. I did learn a lot about people, myself, and Chicago this summer. Below, I've posted what happened every month and and important lesson that I learned. Ready? Let's go!

JUNE:
-Moved out of my parents house for good.
-Watched the Sox blow up.
-Had the first party at the apartment.
-Turned 22.
-Matt and I reached 6 months.
-Looked for a job to no avail.
-I missed the Southside like crazy.
-Realized that most of my "friends" are assholes.
-I'm on my own.
-Realized how hard it is to live on your own.
-Went to Matt's sister's wedding, got really drunk, alcohol poisoning.
-I can't drink as much as I used to.

JULY:
-More parties.
-Elan visted.
-Cooked and baked a lot.
-4th of July.
-Still no job.
-Very lonely, contemplated moving back to my parents'.
-Lots of Mario Party.
-Even though my family is far, they still love me.

AUGUST:
-Last party of the summer.
-Finally got a job.
-Quality time with KV.
-Finally got comfortable around Matt and Allyssa.
-Saw John Benetti in is underwear.
-School started.
-Sox games.
-Embraced the the city.
-EL adventures.
-Drinking and in-depth conversations with Matt and Allyssa.
-I love this city, it's a part of me.

There's probably more, but I can't remember right now. Consult LJ entries for missing gaps in those months.
