I'm so glad it's Friday. I'm even more glad that thanks to my obsessive nature I've finished every paper I have left due for the semester. Hooray. It was just better to get them all written before their due so I can focus on other things such as getting a job and an apartment. Speaking of JAERBS, I had 3 interviews on Weds. and one yesterday. Hopefully one of them will say "you're perfect for our company, please come and work for us." I'm keeping my fingers crossed and still whoring out the resume. Wish me luck. As for the apartment, we're still looking. Matt and I are meeting with a broker tonight and they're supposed to show us some apartments in the Old Town and Lakeview areas. I did have an appointment on Tuesday to look at an apartment but as soon as I got there I smelled trouble. First off all, the building was scummy. There were broken windows, lots of weeds, and douchebag frat boy neighors on the bottom floor. The building was just a mess. Then the landlord showed up 45 minutes late just to tell me that the apartment had been rented. Thanks a lot asshole. Turns out the apartment was in the attic which meant neither Matt or I could walk through there seeing as how we're tall motherfuckers. The landlord did inform me of other apartments but as I looked at his rental application I knew he couldn't be trusted. He wanted a $30 credit check fee, cash only. On top of that the application was kind of small and didn't require a lot of information. Yeah, we won't be calling that guy back. The search contiinues.

Renee and I saw "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" on Weds. I must say it was a great movie. The effects were cool and I loved that they stayed true to smartass, dry British humor. Because of the movie, I am now in love with Mos Def. The only problem I had with the movie was the changed ending but other than that I highly recommend you go see this movie....and don't forget your towel.
