Well, we were denied the apartment. The landlord said that 3 people living in the apartment wouldn't work and he turned down our applications. BOOURNS! This really sucks, I loved that apartment. Not only did it have everything we wanted (dishwasher, laundry on sight, permit parking, close to the EL) but it was only about 2 blocks from Renee's place. Oh well, I guess we're just going to have to keep looking. I made an appointment for tomorrow to go look at a place that has 3 bedrooms and is on Southport. Hopefully it's just as nice as the other apartment. If we don't find anything soon, Matt and Allyssa are just going to apply for the first apartment and hope the landlord doesn't find out I'm going to be living there as well.
On the upside, I had a job interview today. I think it went alright but I'm pretty sure I fucked up. I'm not worried. I've got 2 other job interviews lined up this week and they're actually way better than the one I interviewed with today. Oh, and I was chosen to participate in a research study at University of Chicago. All I have to do is go in for a few hours and talk about my depression and for that I'm going to get paid $150. Schweet. Things are finally starting to look up.
I'm going to see "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" on Weds. with Renee. It's going to be awesome. Not only because I get to see it early but I also get to see it for free. I'll let you all know how it was.
Well, I'm off to finish my French homework. Au revior!
P.S. Anwar was kicked off "American Idol" last week. That sucks, he was the best singer out of that bunch. GET RID OF SCOTT ALREADY!
