i am still just a rat in a cage...
It's been over a month since I've updated. I'm not cut out for this... Well a lot has occurred in the last month. I worked one day in October and sang one gospel choir concer in the Bell Memorial Union @ Chico State. The concert went exceedingly well minus a few technical difficulties (200hz feedback rings are really annoying). We sang with a few special guests that I did not particularly care for but eh, what can you do?
I went home several weekends in a row for varying purposes. One weekend I was home to watch the house and spend time with Amanda, another was spent at KXTV (News10) to get questions answered for a presentation, and the next was also for KXTV with my class group so we could obtain footage of their facilities.
The first weekend I was home to visit the news station also happened to be Halloween. I was able to pickup Amanda and visit a friend's home in Antelope to help her out with her Haunted Maze. I dressed up as the boogie man and scared little kids, it was quite entertaining.
November 2nd and 5th were two more choir events. Our choir took a trip to Paradise, CA to sing "Gospel in Paradise" and again performed at the Harlen Adams theatre on the Chico State campus November 5th for our show "Clap Your Hands." For events that were not free, we pulled a crowed of about 100 for the Paradise show and over 500 for our show in town.
Last week I also saw Taxi Driver with Robert Deniro @ the midnight movies. That was a pretty decent evening show and it was only $2.50!
I think Amanda will be coming to Chico this weekend to visit me, it'd be very nice to see her :)
