But it has! My Livejournal has surpassed the girliness that I once held, and is at a near-blinding level of sunshine, rainbows and unicorns! *insert maniacal laughter here ( Read more... )

oh! I know that house. Cool place. You said you were living with like 8 other people and I was afraid you'd ended up in the Blue House. There's a blue house on top of "the hill" by the liquor store that's a crazy party house, and unless you're the party type, you'd die living there. I never could have done it.

As far as places to eat, Turners Falls Pizza is good and right on main street. In Greenfield, Bill's is good, and so is China Gourmet (great sushi), Thai Blue Ginger, Herm's, and Taylor's. There's a 24 hour diner right off exit 24 on 91-S that we went to a lot. And if your parents are up for going somewhere really classy, the Lady Killigrew is a good place. It's in the TF, but not within easy walking distance. Another place to try is the Wagon Wheel, on Rt just past the Turners Falls bridge. Scotty's on top of the hill has the best sandwiches, and if you're in the mood for Ice Cream, the Cremee on Millers Falls Rd just past the school is awesome.

Just watch out for the chinese place in Turners. That place was shut down by the health department 6 times in the 10 months that I lived there.

Ah, thanks a lot! Good to know I won't be living off Hot Pockets and Poptarts. Oh also, as it is one of my lifelong quests, are any of those places good for spicy food?

And I know of the Blue House too. I had almost accepted an invitation from someone rooming there, as they left out many details. I kinda found out about all that stuff when I got up there and toured the places. The party room back in UMBC was bad enough, I can't imagine what an entire house like that would be like.

it is INSANE. I think the couch in the front yard speaks for itself.

China Gourmet has some good, spicy food. I think there's an indian restaurant around somewhere too. That would be spicy.
