Lovely mail today :D Belated and much needed B-day funds from my grandparents; my Rufus Wainwright ticket; the latest issue of Victoria (always a joy); and best of all, my copy of The Sylph by Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire!
This new edition was created specially in conjunction with the first ever group read over at The Duchess of Devonshire's Gossip Guide to the 18th Century (georgianaguide), and features an introduction by our very own salon hostess, Heather! The first discussion session is on May 3, so there's still time to join in if anyone is interested.
