...Though the free shipping promo didn't hurt! Yes, Queenie is on the way. I have gone ahead and ordered her anyway; why delay the inevitable? With luck she will be here in time to help the girls model some cakes for you all this weekend; I dropped the ball on the card exchange this year (sorry! :( ), so I'm planning a Valentine pastry-themed photo shoot instead ^_^
I've spent most of the past two afternoons sleeping off cold meds, though yesterday I was feeling well enough to spend an hour or so taking advantage of the warm weather to begin clearing out last season's debris from the container garden and getting some of the Daffodil bulbs started. If the clement spell holds for another few days I shall have the lot done before the temperature drops again, and in a very few weeks there will be a sea of PINK! right outside my kitchen window...
Oh! Must order my seed starter kit this weekend...it's time to get a jump on the Datura and my million-and-one varieties of Viola and Columbine...
Now then, hair washing, possible a movie (Netflixed Mama Mia!, though for the life of me I can't think why...), then more sleep! If I'm feeling better I'll catch up with the doings in LJ-land tomorrow ~
