'Phantom' at the Paris Opera House?!
Oh my goodness...this is one of my long-cherished childhood fantasies actually come to life! Apparently in 2008 the there was at least one performance of Phantom of the Opera staged in Garnier's Opera, featuring members of the then-current London cast. I suspect this was to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the show opening on Broadway, but aside from this clip of 'All I Ask Of You' performed on the Grand Staircase (omg!omg!omg!) I sadly cannot turn up any additional information on this production :( If anyone has heard more about this, or has better luck digging up any details, please let me know! You will make at least one Phan-girl enormously happy ;p
