Slave for Sale
Character(s): Open to all children of Rome.
Date: Mid-afternoon, early spring year 45 BC
Setting: Slave Market
Summary: People have gathered for the slave auction.
Warning(s): slavery? Will probably be rated around PG-13 for that reason (and Sakura's potty mouth, heh)
Instructions: Basically the only thing is that highest bidder gets the slave? (Sorry, I'm relatively new to this, lol)
The summer sun beat down on the throng of bodies. Many had gathered for the day's slave auction hoping to get some new cook or maid or such. Several had already been sold and taken to their new "homes."
The fat man bellowed for all to hear that the next slave would be brought out.
A scrawny girl, no woman (the chest was a bit fuller than a girl's), with scraggly pink hair was brought out. Some whispers broke out among the crowd.
The pink-haired woman grimaced. She knew just what they were talking about.
"This one is a great deal all around! She cooks, she cleans, she farms, and she does pretty much what ever else you could possibly need her to do," the auctioneer announced.
The woman glared at the man through the corner of her eye.
"Do I hear an opening bid?"
