Okay, this is pretty much genius. I left 3.10 feeling acutely disappointed that we didn't get a mini!Marian in the flashbacks, but then decided that it was probably for the best because any interactions between young-adult-Guy and baby-in-the-cradle-Marian would cause too much cognitive dissonance for the shippy part of my brain -- and yet apparently my worries were for naught, because I loved the heck out of this. Poor hapless Guy, if only he knew...

And, um, somewhere in there I meant to offer actual comments on the fic itself, oops! I love that Guy gives up his apple to her, and I love that he draws a subconscious parallel between Marian and Isabella and the way he treats the women (err, young ladies, whatever) in his life...

Hee hee. Marian almost married the babysitter. Who the hell would leave baby Marian with Guy anyway? Bad Edward. Bad.

I can so see older Marian's personality already formed here. She will get what she wants, Guy. Oh, yes she will.

Uh oh plot hole! Must remedy this. Shall we say there was a council of nobles and Guy is happy that he gets to go and be all grown up? Then when he's there Marian's nurse who just so happens to be present when they kick his teenage ass out of the great hall mistakes his smooth face for a girl's (oh gasp) and makes him babysit while she goes to see a man about a horse.

Marian ALWAYS gets what she wants. It's all in the chest.

Ooh, this is interesting. There's a fair amount of child!Robin/Marian around, but far less Guy/Marian. I like that at the same time we see a capacity for Guy to be more nurturing, he's still frustrated at Marian's 'wiles', as you put it. ;) And that his good side does seem to be stronger!
