My ISP just upgraded my broadband account.

Which has resulted in me being without internet or mail access for three days!   Much muttering, and grumbles have been involved, including the bemused support call with the very helpful gentleman who's accent I could barely understand.  He told me it would be fixed in 48 hours.  48 hour later it was worse - but then an equally helpful gentleman (this time with an Irish accent) gave me the DSN numbers to put into my modem properties and yay!!!  Connection restored.

*phew*

I haven't really been able to tell if the new connection is faster or not - I guess I'll notice when I get to download something suitably large and bandwidth grabbing.

Meanwhile, I have been wading through three days worth of mail (mostly spam) and trying to catch up with my friends list ...

It's good to be back.  :-)
