Done so far:

Sort out a week's worth of clothes and underwear.  Check.
Pack Cosmetics/washing bag, making sure it includes toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo.  Check.
Bootup laptop, install additional software that might be needed ...  Check
Download presentation, copy of Lit Review, schedule for the workshops onto USB pen.  Check
Upload same onto

Make sure all carry-on luggage conforms to whatever the current husterical knee-jerk conventions require.

We need to go into Bicester this afternoon, to buy DRUGZ and Coke ("If only our life really was that interesting," said J), but we should be back before you get here. You could always bring your spare key and let yourself in!

Gosh, I sure hope it's a great week -- and that your presentation goes brilliantly! Hope everyone else also has something interesting to say so you don't find a moment of it boring or tedious! Hmm. I'm torn. I want you to have a good time (though I know it's work, too, I think learning can be fun) so I hate to hope you find Grenoble boring ... but sure would be nice to see some fic, LOL!
